READING RHYTHMIC FIGURES:
BEGINNER LEVEL
This class focuses on the fundamentals of reading rhythmic notation, counting, and the proper execution of various rhythmic figures in a variety of time signatures.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
This class builds upon the foundations introduced in the beginner class. New topics include rolls and other rudimental figures, use of dynamics, and more challenging rhythms.
ADVANCED LEVEL
This class addresses difficult snare drum literature. Included are classic snare drum solos and other selections from
the contemporary snare drum repertoire.
CHART/INTERPRETIVE READING BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED
These classes will introduce and develop the necessary skills needed to interpret charts and lead sheets in a variety of musical styles.
